About

After 22 years of being Creve Coeur Camera, Weiss the owner has just reopened his former company as a new company known as the St. Louis School of Photography.

Weiss stated "We are back! In the past few months at our temporary location (thanks to The Sound Room owner David Young for allowing us to house our company in his store until we moved in) we have seen a lot of our old customers still taking classes and dropping off items to be copied, printed and more in Chesterfield."

We have reopened in our final permanent location in the Westport area in Maryland Heights.

The new location is at 11806 Borman Drive, just south of Page or North of Olive and Craig.  The space is located in an industrial area, but with it's over 4500 sq. ft of space the company has a lot to offer.

The company boasts a 1500 square foot retail space, a huge multi-purpose classroom with computers and a 4k TV to view photo and class presentations, a huge studio with 20 foot high ceilings and featuring a rustic faux wood floor and other surprises to come.  Additionally there is a huge production room for making metal prints, posters, restorations, canvas prints and most of what Creve Coeur Camera offered.  Unfortunately there will be no film processing due to the rising cost.

Many previous customers are still calling asking what services does the company still offers.  Here is a short list...

Camera accessories: tripods, filters, memory cards, camera bags, backgrounds, speed lights, books, batteries and more arriving weekly.

Photo finishing services: Prints, posters, old home movies to DVD including VHS, 8mm, 16mm, VHS-C, and old movie film too.  Plus, restorations, copy prints, metals prints, greeting cards, photo books,  business cards, banners for trade shows and design services.  Soon the company will have their instant prints machines up and running too.

Additionally Weiss has aligned himself with TravelPlex travel and cruise company to offer extended photography trips to both of their customers,  This month they are traveling to CUBA on a people to people visa and in April the company plans to travel to Costa Rica and view all that the country has to offer.

Additional plans this year include: England, a river cruise down the Danube and more.
