About

DICE Corporation is committed to building clients for life. We understand that means providing our clients with excellence in products, service, innovation, and value. We help provide clients with new avenues to increase their RMR by customizing our already-robust automation software solutions for central station monitoring, accounting, service and sales by adding video integrations, GPS functionality, access control, web functionality, and advanced telephony functionality, among other services.  DICE introduces ways to decrease overhead, as well as provide additional efficiency in business with software solutions like: accurate job costing, artificial intelligence in signal handling, and inbound/outbound voice response systems.

DICE offers our existing clients and potential clients fully-integrated software solutions in two platforms – DICE has development teams consistently enhancing the OpenCORE SQL and Quantum SQL product lines.  OpenCORE SQL is the large scale enterprise system, while QuantumSQL is the Windows operating system built with smaller central station needs in mind.

At DICE Corporation, we strive to promote our clients and not penalize them for being successful.  That is why we offer FREE annual upgrades to our packages, allowing them competitiveness as well as cutting-edge capabilities of their own.  We also don’t limit our DICE Users and will look into integrations at their suggestions to give them the best solutions for their business.

Our clients along with our service-oriented support staff, continually strive to raise the bar in the alarm industry.  We look forward to every opportunity to offer innovation and stability.

Clifford Dice, President and CEO, founded DICE Corporation in 1983.  To understand how we got to the security industry with product-in-hand, one must first know the founder.  Mr. Clifford Dice dropped out of high school at the age of 16, leaving home to work full time while also attending college night classes.  After the first two years of college, Clifford Dice ended up going to the private business college of Northwood University in Midland MI, and interned at both Dow Chemical and Dow Corning.  In 1985, Mr. Dice started a consultant company and began to analyze and build software for a diverse number of companies.  From 1985 to 1992, when Dice entered the alarm industry, he had: built the first USPS manifest system for Mr. Lee Iacoccas' personal mail room at Chrysler; built the first Scale Management System for Toledo Scales; built the first unattended gas distribution system for Tokiem; along with the first Scale Card Access system for  Ford Motor Company, to name just a few.  In the early 90's, Clifford Dice focused on alarm software integration for financial systems, the first product being introduced to the alarm industry in 1992.  From that point on to around 1999, Dice and team, now officially known as DICE Corporation, designed and built over 70 products for the alarm industry, and in doing so was honored to call about 1/3 of the largest central stations in the industry also clients, being the first with: integrated video and sound; medical PERS integration; national and commercial specific software; dealer billing systems; complete conversion services; Disaster Recovery Center; integrated PBX built into the alarm software are a few note-worthy examples.  Today, the company has several central station clients, with the largest client servicing 825,000 accounts, on one application.  Many clients have over 100,000 accounts in one call center with a client average of around 30,000 accounts.

Most clients have both the DICE integrated central station as well as accounting system that work seamless together.  All of these products were the end result of Mr. Clifford V. Dice, and key staff team members, digging into how a process happens at the company of each end user.  From this extensive research, a software solution was created and DICE Corporation was built on the simple philosophy that you don't build software from within, but rather you build it by digging deep into your clients' interests to move their business forward into success.
