About the BCN

The BCN allows professionals to interact with each other in secure, personalized work spaces, without any upfront IT investments or software to download. Teams can collaborate in a user-intuitive Web 2.0 space, regardless of geographic locations or time zones. Data is created, captured at the source, categorized, and made easily accessible to all pertinent parties. Users can easily create a work space, invite customers, partners and colleagues, collaborate on documents and post discussions on relevant topics.

The BCN is a single source for simplified collaboration and communication and can be accessed anytime, anywhere from any browser or mobile device. Other notable features include:

Work Space Creation – Users can create a work space in a few seconds and start collaborating immediately. With the ability to create an unlimited number of work spaces, users can quickly create a public or private work space and invite relevant internal and external team members.

Security - Using the BCN, enterprise-level security means documents, files, and user information is protected and accessible only to those users that have been invited to a work space. No members of other work spaces can see your secure documents.

Unlimited Storage - Multiple documents can be shared and reviewed by several reviewers. Large files are no exception. The BCN does not currently have a data storage limit.

Data Categories - Organizing files and shared data can be difficult and time-consuming to manage. Instead of creating multiple folders and copying entire teams on emails, the BCN uses categories to help teams stay organized.

Email Integration - The BCN allows users to participate in discussions through email, and all comments are securely stored and organized in the network. There is no need to re-enter data or have multiple conversations about the same topic. Users also have the ability to choose if they want to receive notifications immediately, daily or on a weekly basis.

Library - Important files and documents (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, etc.) can be shared with prospects, customers and co-workers in a secure library. As new members join the space, they will have access to previously uploaded material. Users can also store the documents for future use. Publishing existing documents and files to a new work space is as simple as clicking the copy button. The library also tracks the version of each document or file that is uploaded and shows the history (i.e. who updated the document and when it was uploaded).

Event Calendar - Important events (seminars, webinars, live chats, etc.) can be posted in a work space calendar for fellow work space members to see and attend. The BCN sends space members an invitation to attend a scheduled event. This feature integrates with Microsoft Outlook, Google calendar, and iCal to help users stay organized.

White Board - The virtual whiteboard allows users to create documents and content with fellow space users. Edits and changes can be viewed in real-time with work space members.
