About

Welcome to the 2011 Fuel Cell Seminar & Exposition! The Fuel Cell Seminar & Exposition (FCS&E) provides an exciting opportunity to learn about and experience the latest advances in fuel cell research, development and demonstration/application.

This year's conference, Fuel Cells: Today's Safe, Clean, Sustainable Power, will expand on the conference's mission to advance the global energy, environmental, and economic benefits offered by fuel cell technology. Through our extensive technical program and exciting exposition featuring international partners, the FCS&E showcases the importance of fuel cells in the development of energy strategies that reduce or eliminate greenhouse gas and criteria pollutant emissions.

This year we celebrate 35 years as a forum for researchers and developers alike to share new findings, as well as successes and failures, within the fuel cell community. The Seminar, founded in 1976, has grown along with the industry in terms of the numbers of participants; the numbers of demonstrations of fuel cells; and the state-of-the-art of the technology.  Through our extensive technical program and exciting exposition featuring international partners, the FCS&E showcases the importance of fuel cells in the development of energy strategies that reduce or eliminate greenhouse gas and pollutant emissions.

The 2011 technical program will feature four tracks that cover all aspects of fuel cell R&D, applications, and commercialization. Topic presented will be High Temperature Research and Development; Fuel Processing; Low Temperature Research and Development; Hydrogen Research and Development; Fuel Cell Testing; Fuel Cell Modeling; Demonstrations and End-User Perspectives, Commercialization; and Global Overviews.

With exhibitors from Canada, Germany, Israel, Japan, Sweden, Taiwan, the UK, and the US, the 2011 Exposition will certainly provide attendees with a global perspective of the market. The exposition allows attendees to touch real fuel cell systems and components and it provides the opportunity to network with leaders of the international fuel cell industry.

Attendees will also continue to enjoy several of the educational opportunities for which the Seminar & Exposition has become known, including technical poster presentations and short courses. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes will be awarded to posters exhibited at this year's Fuel Cell Seminar & Exposition.

Back this year is the popular Women in Fuel Cells Luncheon, which celebrates women who demonstrate excellence within the fuel cell community and provides a unique networking opportunity. Networking is one of the essential missions of the FCS&E.  Meet with and get to know the rest of the fuel cell community during our Welcome and Industry Receptions!
