About

GASP was born out of a movement in Birmingham, Ala., to clean up the city's polluted air. GASP strives to reduce air pollution, to educate the public about the health risks of poor air quality, and to encourage community leaders to serve as role models for clean air and clean energy production. Health should be policymakers’ first priority when considering policies that might affect air quality because everyone deserves the right to breathe clean air.
