About

Goddard/Homestead is a 135-year old, non-profit organization offering a continuum of elder care in two gracious residences.  Goddard House, at 1199 Main Street, and Homestead Hall, at 10 Homestead Avenue, in Worcester are deeply rooted in our community’s compassion for its seasoned members.  Over a century ago, concerned citizens of Worcester stepped forward to help elders with limited financial means, beginning a legacy of caring that continues today.  Goddard House is now a congenial retirement community for independent men and women with 36 spacious apartments and supportive services.  Homestead Hall offers modern rest home care with 32 private rooms and baths in a charming, quiet setting.  Together they continue a rich tradition of providing comfort, security, and companionship to elders at an affordable price.
