Harold Matzner’s impressive list of accomplishments range from being the acting Chairman of the Board for CBA Industries for over 30 years, to being owner of the Palm Springs Tennis Club and the landmark Spencer’s Restaurant , to being CEO of a New Jersey-based branding, advertising, and marketing company. In addition to that list, he’s notched an impressive count of philanthropic endeavors under his belt. Some of these include being the vice chairman of the Palm Springs International Film Festival, chairman of McCallum Theatre, and vice president on the board of trustees at Palm Springs Art Museum.

Matzner has made the desert his home for nearly 30 years, all the while being a leader amongst his peers in the realm of charitable efforts. His philanthropic work for the likes of the Desert AIDS Project, a Stroke Recovery Center, the Temple Isaiah, and Animal Samaritans have helped to earn him the 269th star on the Palm Springs Walk of Fame.
