Ryan Haze Simmonds is a 3 times Westcoast Hip Hop Award Winning A&R who recently got a job as A&R for 5050/Konvict Muzik/ Vancouver. After starting out as a Dj in 99, and putting out multiple mixtapes with his friend Dj Blenz. In 2001 Haze Ent, thought it would be a stronger move for his team of artist to step back from the djing and do what he does best, and that’s talk and network. His first big feature was a track with Glasses Malone for his former artist Young Trucho. After seeing the work ethic of Trucho, Haze had to release him and then only kept Koncreto on his roster of artists. Koncreto, aka Koncreet, this Dominican Born, Vancouver-raised artist has worked with some of hip-hop’s elite artists, such as Crooked I (3 times), Glasses Malone (3 Times), Ya Boy (3 Times), Bizzy Bone (3 Times), Lil Flip, San Quinn, C-Bo, Tq, B Legit, Shade Sheist, Dresta, Spider Loc, Cyssero, Phat Rat, Big Fase 100, Tha Vill, Tha Realest, XL Middleton, Qwes Kross and many more. In fact, no one in western Canada has more big name features than Koncreto. With mixtapes hosted by Reality TV Star Nick Hogan son of Hulk Hogan, and Westcoast mixtape staple Dj Ill Will. Since teaming with Koncreto Haze has gone on to A&R more big name features than anyone in western Canada. He Became the first Canadian ever nominated and to win at the westcoast hip hop awards. Haze now 28 is probably have more American following than he does Canadian following, but after years of working hard and putting in work it finally paid off when his artist LIL DG signed to Konvict Muzik which was a lifelong dream of Haze’s. Once Lil Dg signed to Konvict Haze was appointed A&R for the Vancouver Chapter and has since been trying to put on the rest of his team like Koncreto, B Styles and D-Ram Beats. With The First single being “we run it now”. Haze has worked with such Canadian artists as Littles Da General, Conscript, JB of GCP, Alies Donmillion, Choclair, Word Merchants, Stressed Street, Tha Smugglas, Yak Dollaz, B Diamond, Fatty Soprano, and many more. Haze Ent spent the end of 2010 and early 2011 working with Toronto based GCP/Fontana before leaving. But now is working for 5050/Konvict Musik
