Hazel’s Army is an Oceanside-based community organization that advocates for elder care initiatives, legislation, and awareness. Hazel's Army was born out of the tragic loss of Hazel Mensching, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who passed away in February 2013 as the result of injuries sustained while a resident in an Assisted Living facility.
