About

Houston Christian High School (HC) inspires students to become leaders, in a close-knit community. Serving grades 9-12, the school draws from areas such as Memorial, West U, Cypress, Katy, and Sugar Land from public, private, and parochial schools. Average- to above-average students receive the attention they need in small classes and in several optional programs, such as the Distinguished Scholars Program for gifted and talented students and the NILD/Discovery program for students with learning differences.

The school’s state-of-the-art facilities sit on a 45-acre campus, which house the award-winning academic, athletic, and arts programs. Below are some highlights of these programs:

•National Merit Scholars
•$15,000,000 in college scholarships (’06-’09)
•Over 25 Pre-AP/AP courses
•2009 College Readiness Award from TX ACT Council
•2009 Overall TAPPS State Vocal and Instrumental Music Champions
•2009 TPSMEA All-State Choir and Orchestra
•Numerous athletic programs have won titles, including state championships in baseball, basketball, swimming, and track and field
