About

Jordana Paige was founded in 2002, when Jordana was 18 years old. As a knitter, she was surprised to find that she couldn’t find anything remotely stylish to hold her knitting projects. No teenager (or twenty- or thirty-something, for that matter) would want to carry the old-school knitting bags she found.

Seeing a genuine hole in the market, Jordana started researching the textile industry and came to the conclusion that the only way to make the bags with the look and functionality she wanted was to explore the world of manufacturing.

With the help of her family and high-school job savings, she placed her first order of 300 bags. Since then, her designs have been applauded in the knitting industry by Yarn Market News, Interweave Knits, Vogue Knitting, Verena Magazine and more.

Today minimum orders don’t scare Jordana, a seasoned business vet looking forward to her tenth year in business.Since the inception of Jordana Paige, she has designed seven bags and added needle carriers and self-published patterns to her catalogue.

Her patterns have been published in Vogue Knitting, Knit Simple and Knitty.com as well as several books including Big Girl Knits, More Big Girl Knits, New Ideas for Today's Knitting and Brave New Knits. Jordana also guest starred on and designed a vintage apron especially for the television show Knitty Gritty.

Jordana Paige bags are carried in about 500 stores in 10 countries. Jordana is excited about the next ten years and plans for more accessories and patterns. But don’t worry, new bag designs are definitely in the company’s future as well.
