About

Founded in 2006, The Journal of Visualized Experiments (JoVE) is the first and only PubMed indexed, web-based video methods journal devoted to biological research. The JoVE format has a significantly higher capacity for visualization than the traditional print medium, thereby increasing the reproducibility of published studies. JoVE has to date released 37 monthly issues, including nearly 600 video-protocols on experimental approaches in neuroscience, immunology, microbiology, bioengineering, medicine and other fields, produced in laboratories of leading academic institutions such as Harvard, MIT, Stanford, Yale and NIH. To facilitate integration of video into scientific publishing, JoVE has developed an organizational and technical network to perform and/or assist scientists with filming and editing in their labs. This network currently includes eight countries: USA, Canada, UK, Germany, Israel, Sweden, Australia and Japan. For more information, visit http://www.jove.com
