About

After years in the Fashion Business managing brands and directing teams, I decided to take the leap and offer my own sensibility in design through products I love. Embracing a modern approach to dressing, focusing on clean, meaningful cuts while recognizing the seasons’ most relevant trends.
My passion is scouring the retail landscape, discovering what is new each season; no matter where I am, city or country, there is something to absorb and inspire.
My collection provides the ideal solutions and foundation to any wardrobe. My clothing mirrors my own sophistication and personal approach to dressing while reflecting the lives of modern, intellectual, well travelled and liked-minded women & always with an eye to the environment

IN 2006 I BEGAN EXPLORING ALTERNATIVE OPTIONS FOR MORE SUSTAINABLE FABRICATIONS IN FASHION

Trips to farming communities in India where organic cotton was just being encouraged as a growth option, to conferences that were held by the Textile Exchange where we were exposed to the organic farming communities in Turkey proved is was all possible. We could make garments with a social conscience with less impact to the earth, and a more healthy option for the growers and the surrounding communities.

Next came investigation into other yarns that would provide the fashion edge and also been sustainable, that brought me to Bamboo and bamboo blends in knit garments and sweaters. This allowed to expand the product line and offer more fashion in a sustainable way….somehow I felt it was my mission….fashion, but more sustainably

After my research was done, I created a athletic-lounge line under the name greenclothing in 2007, and began the introduction process to brands in Canada and the UK. What followed was sustainable fashions being launched by brands such as Monsoon, Pink Tartan, Roots, Joe Fresh and Jessica at Sears.

Today in my own named collection where possible I bring a sustainable fabric option, still keeping an eye on fashion while doing so.
