About

Susan Klopfer is a writer and publisher. She enjoys writing about civil rights. Her recent book, The Plan, opens in New York City but quickly moves to the Mississippi Delta, and then to South America. The Plan is based on the murders of two lawyers, one from the Delta and the other from Alabama. Both were working on civil rights cold cases. Her book is historical fiction, since both characters are based on real people who died under suspicious circumstances. The Plan, in its South American location, introduces readers to the horrors of a torture camp, Colonia Dignidad, found in the Chilean Andes. The Plan is distributed by Smashwords.
