LEAP of WNY is a non-profit children's reading clinic and center located in Tonawanda New York,  serving all of WNY.  Expert literacy assessment and instruction is offered in their reading clinic by literacy experts and trained literacy volunteers. LEAP is a 501(c)(3) non-profit established in 2007 and approved by the New York State Education Department as an SES provider of reading instruction. LEAP has been the recipient of numerous grants to support their reading clinic and children's library including the United Way, the Buffalo Bills, Dollar General, Target, Ken-Ton Kiwanis, Ken-Ton Friends of Youth, the East Hill Foundation, the Sunrise Exchange Club, the  Kenmore Lion's Club, and the Kenmore Rotary Club. In addition to the reading clinic, LEAP operates a free children's library for the community. After-school programs have included mentoring, enrichment and academic tutoring during the school year, all free of charge. The Summer Reading Camp provides intensive one on one reading instruction to students in grades 1-12.
