Council for Foreign Education in Russia (CFER) is an umbrella body appointed by several of the leading St. Petersburg's Universities, Academies and Institutes. It is an organization which coordinates the various international functions of St. Petersburg's leading education institutions. The application process, Visa Invitation, bank transfers, notarization, airport transfer, accommodation for students and their spouses/parents, handicapped/deformed students, internship/jobs for students, stay back option for students, local cultural guidance and counseling etc. are all handled by CFER for international students.

CFER is also the Official Representative in Russia & CIS and Asia for DeVry University & Keller Graduate SchooL of Management (USA), EThames Graduate School (UK), Warnborough College (UK), and in Russia & CIS for Warwickshire College (UK), UBIS (Switzerland), BHMS (Switzerland) and BSL (Switzerland).
