Lesly Devereaux is a graduate of Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She earned her Juris Doctorate from Howard University School of Law and practiced law for more than 15 years. She has traveled extensively
throughout the United States and abroad in her professional capacity, counseling individuals as well as business and religious entities in areas of business start-up and development. As a corporate executive, she traveled globally (Ghana, South Africa, China, Greece, Korea, Japan, Bulgaria, Barbados), matching U.S. small business owners with small business owners in other countries for joint venture opportunities.

Dr. Lesly entered New Brunswick Theological Seminary in 2005 where she earned a Masters of Divinity degree, Summa Cum Laude. In 2013 she received her Doctor of Ministry degree. Her published thesis is “Leading with Ministry in Mind: Empowering Church Leaders to Move From Task to Ministry Through Spiritual Discernment.”

Dr. Lesly has an abiding commitment to empowering individuals through thought leadership using her influence to mentor individuals seeking to learn and grow. She facilitates personal development workshops in a variety of venues.

A sought after speaker and mentor in the area of personal development and business, Dr. Lesly is also the founder and CEO of Joyful Living for Women. Joyful Living for Women was launched because Dr. Lesly wants individuals to know that even in tough situations there are no limitations other than the ones allowed to take residence in the mind. Through articles, seminars, and keynotes, Dr. Lesly provides resources that encourage individuals to foster positive thinking to dictate their emotions and behavior.
