The annual 'Wear Green for Premmies' day, an event hosted by the L'il Aussie Prems Foundation is celebrating their sixth year raising awareness of premature birth in the community.

The ‘Wear Green for Premmies’ campaign is held annually in April and part of the funds raised through the 2014 event, has enabled the L’il Aussie Prems Foundation to donate equipment to help Mater Little Miracles at Mater Mothers’ Hospital.

L’il Aussie Prems Foundation are seeking nominations from around Australia for “premmie heroes” – the ordinary yet extraordinary people who volunteer their time to support premmie families both during their hospital stay and afterwards.

L’il Aussie Prems Foundation is the world’s first premature baby support group to incorporate live video access to babies in Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU) and Special Care Nurseries to its suite of online support services.
