L.Marie Public Relations

L.Marie Carter graduated with a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Communications/Public Relations from Governors State University in June 2006.  L.Marie currently provides communications and public relations services to the following clients:

As well as full-time position as communications coordinator for the National Runaway Switchboard.  

L.Marie's list of responsibilities include:
-Researching possible media opportunities for clients.
-Developing and distributing correspondence directly related to media opportunities regarding clients.
-Developing media plan and timelines
-Writing, distributing, and circulating effective press releases regarding clients to newspaper, radio, t.v., web, and direct mail (via email, phone and post).
-Pitching stories and features to the Media.
-Co-coordinating Media interviews and photo shoots.
-Liaise with Photographer/Designer/Art Director and oversee essential campaign production work.
-Assembling and distributing press kits.
-Collecting press clippings and media coverage results for your archives.
-Collaborating with clients to develop long-range media and public relations strategies.
-Assisting with the development and management of clients online presence through their websites and social media networks via email, newsletter, and any other industry related platform on the internet.
-Assist with the development and implementation of newsworthy events involving clients.
