Lockir is a social network exclusive for students. It brings together social networking with studying to provide a platform for students to connect and collaborate around the world.

The idea is inspired by parents that have made Facebook not cool which used to be for students. Lockir will be launched on 16/09/2013 with a revolution theme implying that it's a student revolution against Facebook to make a social network for students only.
The name Lockir is inspired by the idea of college lockers.

Lockir takes the best features of social networking such as; photo sharing and music sharing, and combines it with study features such as; questions & answers and sharing documents.
