Formkon A/S

Formkon was founded in 1985, with its business focused on the development, construction and manufacture of die-casting tools for the northern European die-casting industry. Since 1985, we have constructed and produced more than 500 die-casting tools.

In 1995, Formkon set up its own prototype foundry in Skive in order to expand its business. Formkon has now been producing Quick Cast prototypes from aluminium, magnesium and a wide range of other metals for 15 years.

In 2004, Formkon set up a separate department in Ningbo, China, which enabled Formkon to improve its tool construction performance and continue developing another process which is called Quick Die process. This, along with Formkon’s prototype foundry in Denmark enables Formkon to offer two unique processes: Quick Cast and Quick Die.

Formkon offer prototypes and 0-series solutions in aluminium and magnesium.
