About

Mary DeYon is a well-respected author, speaker and mentor to women who are in a codependent relationship with an alcoholic and are ready to regain their power and take back control of their lives.

Having had an alcoholic father and two alcoholic husbands, as a good little codependent, Mary tried to play by the rules "They" had set for her but found a better way. She was able to turn her life around and now her passion is to help other women do the same.  Even though their situation might feel hopeless, Mary says that if she can do it others can too.

Her critically acclaimed book "What Does Love Have to Do With It? Excruciating Lessons on My Path to Enlightenment" is a "Codependent's Memoir." It takes the reader through Mary's journey of self-discovery as she learns to overcome her personal demons while dealing with the alcoholics in her life and finally learns to love herself.
