Maysalward Mobile Game Studio, founded by Nour KHRAIS in 2003 in Jordan, has established itself as a leading player in the mobile gaming industry due to its dedication to innovation, original content, and cutting-edge AI. As the first mobile game studio in the Middle East, Maysalward has a proud history of creating captivating and innovative games such as Sheikh El Koba card games, Dominoes Pro, War Card Game : Bounty Hunter, Puffout, and more original IPs. Starting as a self-funded company from 2003 to 2011, Maysalward raised an angel investment in 2012, which allowed the studio to transition to producing free-to-play games. In 2017, Maysalward opened an office in Leamington Spa, UK, to expand into the European and US markets. Today, Maysalward boasts over 100 games available on both the App Store and Google Play, and its growth has been primarily organic, as the company values organic user acquisition.

With a focus on emerging markets in the Middle East, Asia, and Latin America, Maysalward has launched several successful games in the feature phone and smartphone era. Currently, our games are available for download on Google Play and Apple’s App Store for smartphones and tablets running Android and iOS.
Maysalward has established strategic partnerships and distribution channels with strategic alliances, setting both the brand and the marketplace for rapid growth globally.

Maysalward’s extensive knowledge in the realm of game development and distribution has made them a sought-after partner for licensed IPs like Oddbods and Adam wa Mishish, as well as high-profile collaborations such as Shaqdown 2 featuring Shaquille O’Neal, Mohammad Ali, and Jet Li.

The company has also helped the leading studio, ZeptoLab, to bring the popular game, Cut the Rope Magic to the Middle East and establish effective distribution channels. In addition, Maysalward offers a unique Games for Brands service, which leverages its expertise in the gaming industry to support brands in expanding their presence in the world of games.

With a creative, innovative, and agile team, Maysalward has implemented project management methodologies and has been SCRUM certified since 2011.

Adopting OKRs in 2019 as its growth framework has helped Maysalward maintain clear goals and objectives, ensuring everyone is on the same page with the company culture and values.



Maysalward’s passion for game development has resulted in a loyal player base, which it has maintained through its strong relationship with its live ops team. The company is also dedicated to promoting and supporting local and international communities, and has joined forces with the World Health Organization and other leading gaming studios and publishers to launch the #PlayApartTogether initiative during the COVID-19 pandemic. Maysalward is also a part of the International Game Developers Association Special Interest Group to assist indie game developers worldwide.



Since 2011, the King Abdullah II Fund for Development has chosen Maysalward to manage several capacity-building activities to support and cultivate the local gaming community. These include boot camps, developer events, and an annual gaming summit known as Pocket Gamer Connects Jordan. Maysalward also manages the Jordan Gaming lab in different Jordanian cities: Amman, Irbid, Aqaba, Maan, Karak and Zarqa.



In addition, Maysalward has been running the App Challenge, a semi-annual event that invites 14 to 16-year-old school students to develop mobile games. Nour Khrais, the founder of Maysalward, has received numerous awards for his outstanding contributions to the field of technology and the development of the tech industry in Jordan. He was awarded the King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein Order of Distinction of the Third Degree Medal in 2022 and the State Centennial Medal, one of the highest civilian decorations in Jordan.


In 2023, Khrais’s remarkable achievements were further celebrated as he received the highly prestigious Mobile Legend award in a ceremony held at BAFTA 195 Piccadilly. This esteemed accolade specifically honors individuals who have left an indelible mark on the mobile gaming industry, acting as true trailblazers and leading the way for others.
