About

Meadowsweet Ranch is located next door to Chain O'Lakes State Park with easement access to their equine trails.  All ages, all disciplines, all levels of riders, all breeds of all ages are welcome.  We promote a "family" atmosphere.

We offer boarding, training, a Connected Riding horsemanship program, camps, birthday parties, various other events and clinics.

Horses that live with us have daily turnout (weather permitting - and it has to be pretty darn awful for them not to go out); stalls cleaned daily (except New Years Day; Easter; Thanksgiving and Christmas); hay at least 4X/day (we're working toward having slow feeding available); forage pellets 2X/day; vitamin/mineral supplement balanced with the hay crop we get in each year, heated water troughs in winter.  Turn out hours are determined by the amount of daylight hours - shortest turnout out is 8:30 am - 4:30 pm - longest is 8:30 am - 7:00 pm.

Boarders have no barn hours, use of indoor and outdoor arenas, heated indoor bathrooms, optional organized activities and off-site excursions.

Students are accepted from the age of 4 on up.  All levels of riders accepted as well.  Lessons can be on your horse or one of our lesson horses or ponies.  Some lesson horses and ponies are available for lease to the right match.  Students are able to participate in various ranch activities, off-site trips, etc., when their riding abilities match what we are offering.

Of course, if you have any questions about anything, please do not hesitate to contact us.
