The New Zealand Rugby Union administers the game of rugby union at the national level, and is charged with fostering, developing, administering, promoting and representing the game of rugby in New Zealand. On a day-to-day level this involves, supporting community and provincial rugby;  delivering national competitions including ITM Cup and the Heartland Championship;  delivering Investec Super Rugby in New Zealand;  delivering Test matches in New Zealand, including the Investec Rugby Championship;  managing and resourcing our national teams: the All Blacks, Black Ferns, New Zealand Maori, New Zealand Sevens, New Zealand Under 20, the Heartland XV and the Junior All Blacks.
