About

NJ Foundation for the Blind (NJFFB) is a 501(c)3 not for profit organization which exists to help adults who have become blind or visually impaired live with dignity and personal independence, travel safely without fear, and enjoy a higher quality of life, free of the isolation that comes with vision loss.

NJFFB provides a continuum of program to address the various stages of adjustment to vision loss. Among the classes are an essential low vision program for adults with recent vision loss and their caregivers; health & wellness programs held in Denville and at various community locations; and a comprehensive vision rehabilitation program (dependent upon funding).

Small group classes using adult learning strategies and caring instructors make NJFFB an innovative, effective and friendly learning environment.

NJFFB charges only a small fraction of what it costs to provide our services and does not receive public funding.  The generosity of individuals, and the charitable contributions of corporations and foundations support our work.
