Facebook is everywhere you go on the web today. Regardless of whether you like or dislike Facebook, no one can argue Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook have come a long way from their humble beginnings out of a Harvard college dorm room.
It seems that with success comes criticism, as a growing number of Facebook critics, military, privacy advocate groups, and even wall street are outraged over the handling of users’ information, security, privacy, and also involving themselves with data mining, web tracking and facial recognition software.

(An example would be: governments, banks, and law enforcement agencies who all have so called state-of-the-art online security systems). With a Real Name, Email Address, and Date of Birth a cyber criminal could wreak havoc on your personal & financial life.
Facebook and other social networking sites are working on better privacy settings, but does this address the real issues about protecting their users’ privacy rights and information? Whether Facebook controls your information, or you control your own information, your information is still in a database, which can be used “Knowingly” and “Unknowingly”, and can be hacked.
