As a result, we do not manage or harvest any virgin forests; rather we restore previously deforested areas to their natural state through an intense process of diversified reforestation.
The Planting Group manages forests and timberland investments in South America with a focus on diverse species forests, including Tectona grandis, Eucalyptus, Simarouba amara, Spondias mombin, and Ficus. Our species allocation strategy is designed to achieve optimal timber growth, whilst promoting biodiversity and corporate social responsibility. Our range of products remove CO2 from the atmosphere, provide sustainable timber and help find vaccines and remedies for diseases, whilst helping restore deforested land and renewing the biodiversity in the ecosystem.
