About

Project Reservoir is a multi-year, multi-disciplinary project designed, implemented, and maintained by the students of the Christa McAuliffe School, PS #28 in Jersey City, NJ.  The project is focused on the students' efforts to help revitalize and transform an abandoned local reservoir into a first class, state recognized recreation and education center. Throughout the project, the Project Reservoir Team has partnered with the Reservoir Preservation Alliance to identify problems, design innovative solutions, and solicit community support for their vision.  Along the way, the students have enjoyed a unique educational experience and the opportunity to apply their academic skills to real world situations.  The students have grown in confidence, leadership, and academic knowledge.  They have created this site to archive and share their project with the world.  We invite you to take some time to explore "Project Reservoir"
