About

PTU Nalanda School of TQM & Entrepreneurship launched a new program for enhancing the employability of B.Tech. students by imparting industrial training in an innovative way for final year students of various engineering colleges of the region. This Industrial Training program is designed with extensive inputs from industry which has been rating the fresh graduates “non-employable”. The industry finds them less motivated to learn, below their expectations on practical knowledge along with a low level of communication ability. PTU Nalanda has created an outcome based industrial training programme keeping the expected graduate attributes in mind. Apart from area specific training, there is a strong emphasis on personality development and communication skills. A placement drive would be conducted towards the end of the training.
While addressing the trainees on the Orientation Day, Manish Trehan, CEO of the Institute conveyed that there would be ample opportunity to work on live projects in their area of specialization. During the training, projects on Mobile Applications with Android will be assigned in association with     “smartData Enterprises”, a leading offshore web development company of India. While interacting with the trainees, who are final year B.Tech. students, the CEO stressed upon the requirement of a positive attitude and commitment to assigned tasks. Also present on the occasion was Brig. Surinder Singh, the Dean Academics of the campus. He said that the team at PTU Nalanda has designed the training keeping in mind the expectations of industry and will prepare an Industrial Training report of high standard.
