Quiñones previously wrote Repackaging Is Everything to help people to repackage their content. Since then, he has expanded his message because he sees that people need to, not only repackage their content, but their entire lives. Due to technology, outsourcing, record layoffs and an unstable economy, millions have been forced to repackage their priorities, finances, businesses, and ultimately, their lives. Before, that was an option. Today, it’s a necessity. The show will focus on topics such as employment, entrepreneurship, relationships, suicide, depression and spirituality. It will highlight and address these issues while offering hope to those going through them as they attempt to get unstuck and overcome their midlife crises.

“Anthony is right on the mark about empowering individuals to look at their skills and age to cement their expertise over the age of 40,” Karen Taylor Bass says. “This show will help people press RESET and realize they can do more with their career once they rebrand themselves.”

Quiñones decided to start the podcast to inspire people in the 35-64 demographic to live life fully, not as over-the-hill people biding their time until they die or worse, take their own lives.

He adds, “Statistically speaking, once we hit 40 we’re in the second half of our lives. In no time we go from thinking we have a lot of time left to thinking ‘I’ve got to do this now or else.’ And that can get depressing very quickly. Like the prophet Job, the second half of our lives can be better than the first. It’s all about having the proper mindset.”

The podcast will allow listeners from around the world to listen digitally and on-demand. New episodes will air every Wednesday. Listeners can subscribe to the Over The Middle show via iTunes.
