Rotary Club Beirut Cedars

Since over a month, fighting between armed gangs in Tripoli (Lebanon) has been taking place, exacting a heavy toll on the population in the number of deaths and injured, and stopping businesses and schools from operating normally.

Arrival of 40,000 books offered by Rotary Club Beirut Cedars to the public library of Mansourieh - Mkalles - Daychounieh.

The Rotary Club Beirut Cedars visited Saintes in France, invited by the Rotary Club Of Saintes. Members of the rotary club of Saintes had invited the Lebanese club during the visit of its 17 members delegation to Lebanon in October 2010.

RC Beirut Cedars President Mona Kanaan and Rotarian Rony Farra met with Mansourieh Mayor Mr William Khoury. The discussions were about the modalities of delivery of the club gift to the public library of Mansourieh - Mkalles - Daychounieh.

In the aim of creating awareness about the dangers of drugs RCBeirut Cedars launched its 2011-2012 fundraising Lottery event for a 2011 Chevrolet Aveo.

Rotary Club Beirut Cedars,has launched,in participation with Fabriano, the 47th annual drawing competition, along with other sponsors. The students have 5 themes to choose from including Rotary Club Beirut Cedars’s theme for this year "NO TO DRUGS"

Rotary Clubs of Beirut Cedars, Saida and Los Angeles Cedars joined hands in helping the mentally challenged kids of Bait El Said in Saida, by providing them with a much needed brand new school bus, a project worth 26,750 USD.

With the unrelenting love of helping those in need, Rotary Club Beirut Cedars has done it once again, by providing 50 hospital beds, 50 mattresses and accessories to the Foyer du Vieillard Malade, a project worth 29,450 USD.
