About

Strengthening the world of work through diversity  and ensuring the success of all students through consulting, training and products.

Souder, Betances & Associates, Inc. was established in 1990. Our goal was to assist private and public sector clients in their quest to strengthen the workplace by making sense of differences. We collaborated with a vast network of organizations to make a positive difference in their mission and bottom line.

Organizations became attracted to our innovative approach. We made the business case for diversity without injuring or bashing any group at the expense of another. We avoided becoming single issue activists. Rather, we concentrated on helping clients focus on implementing strategies for creating and sustaining diverse, inclusive, high performance teams. Our reputation for presenting bottom line, mission-driven diversity sessions that motivate and challenge leaders and managers to strengthen their workplaces by leveraging diversity strategies, has made our company a powerful force in the profession.

In the year 2000, we responded to the challenge of sharing our trade secrets with diversity practitioners. Many internal /external consultants and facilitators wanted to add value to their tool kits as trainers by learning our process. Thus, we added the "Training for Trainers" component to our growing corporate capability portfolio. This action has proven to be invaluable for practitioners who felt grounded in the field, but needed to learn how to increase their effectiveness in their staff development work when communicating diversity.

Souder, Betances and Associates, Inc. is dedicated to strengthening the mission of Kindergarten through College/University (K-16) educational stakeholders in ensuring the academic success of all students. Our diversity consultants, trainers, and staff developers will work with you -- board members, administrators, project managers, teachers, counselors, principals, law enforcement personnel, professional associations, foundations and government funding agencies, community, labor, and business leaders, youth workers, media specialists, college/university educators and staff change agents, parents, and student groups -- in developing organization-specific strategies for closing the achievement gap.

Today, we continue to respond to the needs of our clients at home and abroad. We have teams of associates whose expertise has led us to develop new service concepts specifically for Law Enforcement, Healthcare Providers, K-12 and Post-Secondary Education and Faith-Based Organizations.
