Bacci Chocolate Design was launched in 2007 when owners Erin Calvo-Bacci and Carlo Bacci noticed there was a demand for quality novelty packaged chocolate gifts. Since they already owned the specialty chocolate stores The Chocolate Truffle they were familiar with the specialty chocolate industry and could see potential business opportunities. “Other specialty store owners were pleased with what they purchased from us in our retail stores and wanted to offer their clientele our products,” reflected Erin. The first product line offered for wholesale was the CB Stuffer Peanut Butter Cup which is the industry’s largest weighing in at about 5.5 oz and offered in an array of flavors such as Traditional, Dark, Sea Salt and Caramel, Crispy, Peanut Butter & Jelly and Marshmallow. Because of the success of the CB Stuffer Peanut Butter Cup line the CB Stuffer Cookies and Brownies and Gourmet Bars were added. The challenge in the industry is to always offer customers quality items that will sell and the need to focus on what your expertise is. Carlo got his start in the food industry when he opened pizza shops in the Boston area and then later sold them. From that we offer CB Stuffer Chocolate Pizzas, Slices and CB Stuffer Choco Wings (Peanut Butter filled chocolate shaped wings) thanks to Carlo!
