FIRST Kit
The Field Information Response System for Tactical users (FIRST) Kit is a critical information infrastructure system designed to be quickly deployed during information constrained situations. The FIRST Kit is designed to be fielded by two-persons to provide information infrastructure services for up to 30 days and provide IP communications data coverage, relay & over-head airborne surveillance & critical data capture. The Kit includes a customizable IP backhaul satellite communications capability. The Kit is de-signed with the flexibility to be quickly established within a variety of environments as a single node capability or meshed together with other FIRST Kit's to rapidly establish a low cost hastily formed field comms relay, information collection, critical data capture network infrastructure, with reach back capability.
