About

He's a comedy writer for film/TV. She's an adult film legend and Hall Of Fame member. Together, Rick Bailey and Jessica Drake are making you smile. Bailey and Drake host The STFU Show, an entertainment/gossip/comedy podcast available every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday free on iTunes, or on their website, stfushow.com.

The STFU Show is uncensored talk, and done with tongue firmly in cheek. You'll hear comments about Britney, Lindsay, and Paris, along with opinions on politics and world events. Most importantly, you'll also get to know Jessica and Rick personally; two people who aren't afraid to tell it like it is.

The show is kept free just like any other show on TV or radio; through advertising support. But unlike traditional media, podcasts take advantage of the power of the Internet and vast networking. The STFU Show is produced by a handful of people, so the overhead is minimal, and the few allowed advertising spots are more seamless, and less of an interruption.

Though the STFU Show is in its infancy, word is spreading quickly. Drake tweets regularly to her 50,000+ followers on Twitter, and Bailey uses his agent at Diverse Talent Group to help line up future celebrity guests. Like any show, one of the keys to success is consistency. Like clockwork, the show is available three times per week. Being on iTunes allows listeners to get the show automatically, without effort.

What is surprising is that both Drake and Bailey are accessible to the fans. Both have an email account on the STFU Show site, and each checks and responds to their emails personally. "Listeners are more likely to be loyal when they know their thoughts on the show, and suggestions are actually listened to by the hosts", says Bailey. As for Jessica Drake, she has always been closely in touch with her extensive fan base.  It's one of the reasons she's among the top adult stars (by fan vote) every year.

What can a listener expect from The STFU Show? That's impossible to ask. It's unscripted, and very loosely formatted, so the topic at hand can quickly change directions in an instant. Jessica and Rick promise the show will always be interesting, and give listeners a few laughs during even the roughest of days.
