The First Annual “Success Through Empowerment” conference for women in business will be held October 28-30, 2010 at the Doubletree Tampa Hotel Westhore Airport. The two-day event will provide inspirational key note speakers and learning tracks for various stages of female entrepreneurship and business development -  a networking gala and a banquet night benefiting The Spring, a shelter for domestic violence prevention.

The keynote speakers include Vernice Armour, - Through Innovation, Creativity and Imagination, Vernice EXCELerated from beat cop to combat pilot in three years. Vernice’s most notable accomplishment to date was being recognized as America’s First African American Female Combat Pilot. Upon completion of two combat tours in Iraq as an AH-1W Super Cobra Attack Helicopter pilot, Vernice leveraged her experiences and conceptualized the Zero to Breakthrough™ Success Model.
