About

The Center for Literacy Enrichment is a unique learning support center, which strives to make academic success a reality by building each child’s self-esteem, and inspiring students to become lifelong readers, writers, thinkers, and learners. We have provided literacy and educational support for over 43 years, setting the standard of academic excellence by providing individualized, quality instruction to learners of all ages. The Center views children, whether in pre-K or high school, as individuals with respect to their academic needs, and we tailor our instruction accordingly. Our highly qualified staff members remain current on the most recent methods and research, and offer assistance with the Common Core.

Founded in 1972, The Center for Literacy Enrichment (www.thecenterforliteracy.com or www.pace.edu/literacy) offers a variety of programs for children and parents throughout the year, including homework help, one-on-one and group tutoring in literacy, math, science, and ELL, writing and reading workshops, special events, a summer literacy program, and much more.  The Center for Literacy Enrichment is a division of the School of Education at Pace University.  Located at Pace University’s Law School at 78 North Broadway in White Plains, the Center for Literacy Enrichment is staffed by certified teachers.
