For example, Thumbtack’s most common services are home services, event services, and instructors. However, we also have lots of crazy and fun services like balloon twisters, party bus rentals and magicians.

We are seeking to become the single place on the internet to find the most reputable local service professionals. Our ambitions are very large: we want to move local services online in the same way Amazon did products.

Thumbtack's corporate offices are based in San Francisco, and we've been around since 2008. We're a nation-wide service.
