About

Toowrappedup.com is a destination for original gifts, greetings cards and wrap especially curated for creative types who are short on time, but don’t want their busy schedules to affect their ability to purchase fabulous gifts.

The website does the legwork for the gifter, curating products at reasonable prices from the best new designers. Wrapping paper is handpicked to show off presents. And just like good clothes, paper should feel luxurious. So only luxury wrap is sold, with a minimum thickness of 100gsm. Charlotte Ryder, Too Wrapped Up Director says
“Rather than visiting our site in a rush when a gift is needed, we want our customer base to know they can find good wrapping paper & cards from us to buy in advance and keep in ready for that special occasion.”

Too Wrapped Up also helps gifters keep stocked up on cards for birthdays, new births and general greetings. The website commissioned a focus group before launching the site, in order to discover more about people’s habits when it came to online gift shopping. The majority of those 100 surveyed, who were aged 20 – 35, stated that they simply avoid buying cards online because the postage fees often out way the cost of the card. In response to this, Too Wrapped Up decided never to charge for posting cards to shoppers who live in the UK.

In order to keep the site current, Too Wrapped Up work with independent illustrators and emerging designers such as Katie Leamon & Meticulous Ink. Charlotte says “We want to inspire our visitors with specially picked products and keep them informed of new designers, trends and gifting ideas via our blog and Facebook page. It’s not just about promoting products we sell on our site, no one shops in just the one shop and we all like to share cool new things we’ve seen.”

Too Wrapped Up also stock new baby gifts and is the exclusive UK retailer for Australian baby gift brand Welly’s Wonders, designed by Adam Murphy, artist and animator for Disney and Lucasfilm.
