TreatHer.com was devised in 2005 as the ideal solution for time-short professionals in the UK looking for high-quality gift ideas. The service was soft-launched in the Summer of 2006, after extensive product-sourcing and testing from all over the World. The service went live in August 2006.

After graduating in Business Studies from Cass Business School in 2000, Jay worked as a financial analyst for Pricewaterhousecoopers (PwC), working with media and telecoms companies across Europe and Latin America.

Pursuing an interest in working with start-ups – and having collaborated with large Brands such as ITV, Samsung, BT, T-Mobile, Vodafone and Three on corporate valuations and strategic planning – Jay moved in 2005 to become the marketing strategy analyst at Homechoice, a start-up TV and broadband company based in West London. Within a year, he had established the TreatHer.com online proposition, offering a rapid gift service with quality distinction.

Following the success of this brand, the team researched the men’s gifts market and launched TreatHim.com in May 2008.
