Turn It Up! is the memoir of tour manager/plane crash survivor Ron Eckerman, who managed Lynyrd Skynyrd during their glory years of 1976-77. The band, perhaps the most iconic band in American rock history, created timeless songs such as Sweet Home Alabama, Freebird, and Gimme Three Steps, which are on heavy rotation on radio stations throught the globe 40 years after their creation. No other band in history has proven this staying power. Eckerman was with the band two of the four years which comprised their short history, and has chronicled his time with them, and events leading to the airplane crash, in a masterful style.
