Venessa Kimball, born in San Antonio Texas, taught 7th grade Language Arts in the Austin, Texas Metro area. After having children, she persued a successful career as a Texas Realtor. In 2011, Venessa focused solely on her writing career and publication of her first novel, Piercing the Fold: Book 1. Since then, Venessa has published her second novel, Surfacing the Rim: Book 2 in the Piercing the Fold series. She is currently working on her third novel in the series, Ascending the Veil: Book 3. Venessa is currently a full time author, resides in Texas with her husband, 3 energetic kids, and crazy dog. She can be found writing passionately in her "writing cave" on a daily basis.
