In 1990 media entrepreneur John Gubba - the experienced broadcaster and writer - launched the VSI & VISIONSPORT brands when he left ITV to set up an independent production company.

Initially trading as Visionsport International the company specialised in sports programming and live event coverage. By the end of the 1990s, production included the popular TV series Wild Thing and a more general mix of programmes distributed by VSI Enterprises.

By 2010, VSI TV was producing multi-platform content for visionsport.TV, WildThingTV & a growing collection of branded media channels.
