About

The Workforce Planning Board of Grand Erie champions labour force solutions in Brant, Brantford, Haldimand, Norfolk, Haldimand, Six Nations and New Credit.

The Workforce Planning Board is one of 25 community-based, not-for-profit corporations established in Ontario to play a leadership role in labour force development.

Workforce development is a cornerstone of any community, since employers need skilled, well-trained and educated employees to run a successful business.

Over the years, the board has spearheaded numerous projects that have benefited employers, employees, and job seekers – the three main groups it serves. Each year, the board launches partnerships and projects to address labour force issues identified through community consultations with businesses and other groups.
