Zepetto Co. (www.zepetto.com), the developer of the world popular free to play online shooting game, Point Blank (known as Piercing Blow in North America) announced that the annual Point Blank International Championship (PBIC) will be held at Tennis Indoor Senayan in Jakarta, Indonesia from October 10 to 11. Indonesia is to be the first country to hold PBIC twice and Garena, the publisher of Point Blank in Indonesia will be co-hosting the annual event with Zepetto this year.  

Celebrating its fifth year this year, PBIC 2015 will expectedly be the largest ever with a prize pot of USD 100,000. A total of eleven representing teams from ten different regions including Republic of Korea, Indonesia, Thailand, Russia, Turkey, Brazil, Latin America, Singapore/Malaysia, North America and Philippines will be invited to compete for the coveted title of world champion.

The PBIC is one of the world’s largest FPS (first person shooting game) tournament started in 2011 in Seoul to celebrate with its 100 million users from 70 countries worldwide. To date, Point Blank has shown great performances in the global gaming market since its first service in 2008 and is now one of the world’s most popular online FPS game.

In North America, PBNC (Piercing Blow National Championship) 2015 will be held to select the representing team. The winner of PBNC will get the ticket to advance to PBIC 2015 where all the winners of regional champions are gathered after hard-fought qualifying matches held around the globe and compete to be crowned world champion.
