Z. K. Rosson is an American author and entrepreneur. He was raised in New Braunfels, Texas and graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2002. Upon graduation, he cross-commissioned into the United States Air Force where he served until 2014. While in the Air Force, Rosson flew the A-10 Warthog and MQ-9 Reaper aircraft on combat missions out of Bagram and Kandahar airfields during Operation Enduring Freedom. He wrote the majority of his first novel, Kinetic Sunset, while deployed to Afghanistan in 2012.
