Winner of the IST price Euro-CASE's European IST Prize nominees were evaluated by independent experts from 16 European countries and backed by the European Commission. 3D Solar technology was ranked ahead of 210 other innovative proposals and competitive solutions from 29 European countries.

he European IST Prize Awards Ceremony took place on 22 March 2006 at the Hofburg in Vienna. The Grand Prize Winners was awarded by Dr Heinz Fischer, Federal President of the Republic of Austria, Mrs Viviane Reding, Member of the European Commission and Mr Hubert Gorbach, Vice Chancellor of the Republic of Austria.
