About

The Knoxville club was chartered in 1963 as a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit in Tennessee, and we have been active ever since. We are dedicated to ENJOYING BOATING and enhancing boating skills. Our goal is to encourage and promote a high amateur standards of skill in the handling and navigation of boats, power and sail; to encourage and promote the study of the science and art of navigation, seamanship, and small boat handling; to develop and promote instructional programs for the benefit of members and the public; and to stimulate members and the public to increase their knowledge of and skill in boating through instruction, self-education, and participation in marine sports activities. The Knoxville club has members from Johnson City to Loudon, Tennessee.
