About

The Alberta Occupational Health Nurses’ Association (AOHNA) is a non-profit organization representing occupational health nurses working in Alberta.

The AOHNA is a specialty practice group of the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA).

The mandate of the AOHNA is to promote healthy working environments, protect the health of workers, and prevent occupational injuries and illnesses.

The AOHNA is comprised of regional chapters governed by a Provincial Executive Committee.  Regional Chapters are as follows:

   Northwest Chapter - Grande Prairie & area
   Northeast Chapter - Fort McMurray & area
   North Central Chapter - Edmonton & area
   Central Chapter - Red Deer & area
   South Central Chapter - Calgary & area
